    Hi Sequel,

Looks really great for those who are not willing to build their own simulator from scratch. The difficult part is already made and operating. Not sure how this can be controled (they are talking about +/- 10 Volts), but this should not be a big issue.
Only sticky point is how much the 2D and the 3D costs ? Any idea ?
    Cheers,
    OscarH

I can built 10 to 20 of mine for such a price, but I unfortunately don't have 10 time my spare time :).
Having a more reasonnable price may probably attrack more individuals like us, but at 6k€, not sure how much players can spend such big amount of money.

No, this platform with gearheads is dedicated to another type of application.

The SCN5s are very fast in positioning and closed loop repetitive movements (rumble e.g), but they are very weak.

AC gearhead motors have plenty of force for heavy payloads, but they are not able to move as fast, and change direction as fast as the SCN5. They are way more laggy than the SCN5.

So no, that platform is not an equivalent replacement for SCN5.
