im new to this dof build, but ihave experience in DIY steering wheel base build using arduino/stm32 and DC motor

this time, i try to the nex level of DIY build, but i try as cheap as possible but it need to be as strong as possible
in this time, i already build the controller/brain. using arduino uno and bts7960/ibt2 for motor driver.

and, for the actuator, ihave plan to use industrial worm gearboc and custom coupled with my1016 250w DC motor.

    and this is my design...

i hope the motor fast and strong enough...

    nice aviation plugs!

these bike motors are current hungry! @Lebois burnt some ibt2 drivers if I remember correctly... :(
you should double them for 1 motor and add heat sinks and a fan!

be prepared for a nice and smooth burning smell ^^

I now drive this motor with this driver that is barely enough... Check my website to see how to wire it.

the only way is to try it when the parts come...

usually i drive ibt2 around 20-25A with no problem...

    more update...

i've already tested my actuator attached to my rig but only using 12v ATX PSU, and it work well. and i still have plenty of room of adjustment because i have lots of hole im my actuator's arm, so i can move it if it can't handle the weight.

and this is some vid, sorry for blurry vid, i only use old phone to record it.

some action from low budged setup...

it works well with 19v 20A PSU, but i give it 22v 30A to give some headroom if it needs some power...
