I agree Nick, there's a lot of ripped junk around the web

About IER... hmmm I don't think is the list of beers on the leftside of the Oreca cockpit, isn't it?
I find really strange the stiffness of the suspensions (mainly the front ones)

To me the 2014 Corvette Daytona Prototype has too much grip, but physics are still impressive. RD is very serious, if you are looking for further mods but also from a serious source then I suggest to have a look at http://assettocorsa.club/en/

    Hint, its not the DP.

In regards to the the stiffness of the IER cars, McLarenPapa the creator has some access to realistic data values which have proven to be on the stiffer side for the AC engine. Think back the VS3.5 formula that i demonstrated back in the day. Similar situation for these cars with the dampers.

    What's the DP?

Now that you tell me, I can see a lot of things in common with the 3.5 formula (suspension wise)

    Daytona Prototype,

The vs3.5 isn't as bad as it used to be, the Update to 333hz physics rate, "somewhat fixed the problem" Tho its still a Very Highly dampened car. That is all that i was relating to the vs3.5 is that its also highly dampened, I cant say Im terribly happy when i open up a mod car and find 12 12 12 12 on all the dampers. :(

Yep. It was the AssettoCorsa.Club that I discovered. I was led to it by the "Pudsey" road map.

I was only really after new tracks and got Bathurst for AC. I really wish they would make an official Bathurst track. I have to play Project Cars because it has the FORD V8 FG and Bathurst. (Aussie's will know how IMPORTANT this is :) )

Little blip from the change log i think you VR guys are going to enjoy,

VR: now cockpit camera position is always on the driver eye position (this is overridden by the onboard camera settings)

While it is nice to have options do experiment to see what suits yourself, for me with VR and actual motion I prefer these off.

    From 1.10.2 patch
    • Camera shake in VR is now off by default, enable it by setting ENABLE_CAMERA_SHAKE=1 in system/cfg/assetto_corsa.ini under [VR]

To be honest I am not sure why they stuck with the VR dev release notes, in my view it is far more relevant to screen based sim racers.

In reality there's One VERY distinguishable sounding car that goes Brap Brap Brap.

One hint, Jonny Herbert was One of the drivers.
