I was originally going to buy 3x 24v 400w motors from Simukit and they were rated at 50rpm are 57nm, I have now found these 500w motors. They are slightly cheaper and the 110ZYT156 with NMRV50 gearbox at 50rpm are 82.5nm.

Are these likely to be a better motor? Or have I read it all wrong?

BTW - They will be used in a 3dof build with 24v 1000w power supplies.

Hi Fluke, as you do net get an answer here: Have you selected some motors now and which ?
I am also struggling to find the right motors (or better for which motors I have to look for).
Unfortunately there seems to be no "rule of thumb' like: If your full frame is 120 kg and should move by max. 100 mm, you should get a motor with x Watt, y rpm and z Nm torque.
