    Hi,

I'm interested in a motion simulator for flying. Only large aircrafts like Airbus / Boeing.
So I'm looking for your recommendation of any DIY-Plans.
For me it's very important to feel the heave up and down for runway bumps like in this 6DOF of Markus' version - look at 5:20:

My opinion is 3DOF will do it - and it's cheaper. Something like this:

    or their newer version:

But they sell it about 8.000$ which is quite too much for me.
Do you have any idea how to build this system? I can't find this system as an DIY here.

Thank You for any idea or tip!
    Tim

Hi Tim welcome to xsimulator.net, I advise you having a first look at the FAQ, you will find lot of information there, it is a very good start point for "beginners" just looking around and collecting many inputs. A 3DOF is not too complicate to build since it uses a rather simple design.
