As the title suggests, has anyone out there built something similar to the Yaw 2 as a DIY'er? I know it's not everyone's cup of tea and is built more for travel than precision perhaps, but I've been looking at them more and more for flight sim use and thinking about how I might build one myself. With only 2/3 motors (depending on whether you want yaw or not), I think it could be a lot cheaper than a 6 DOF Stewart platform type setup. Figured it could be interesting to study some other builds if there were any, but can't search for "yaw 2" that easily here since it's too short of a term and "yaw" in general would get way too many responses.

Had some ideas of how to use guide wheels/bearings and maybe timing belts kind of like a 3d printer scaled up, but would need to do some math to see what the torque requirements would be .
