I found this forum a few days ago as I was looking into building my very own simulator & so far it has been brilliant :D . At first I was worried that this was going to be a really big project & i'd pretty much be winging it, but now I have found X-Sim & all these very professional looking sim builds/builders I am feeling a lot more positive about the whole thing..

The first thing i need to do is draw up a list of all the things I am going to need in order to build this motion simulator. It will be primarily for race sims so i thought id go with the simforce gt method.

So far on my shopping list i am going to need:

    2x Actuators prob Firgelli
Aluminum cross section as used with most of these simulators
    Power source for the actuators
    X-Sim Software
    Actuator controller & Interface
    Seat

    any thing else?

Also anyone have a rough plan for a frame. I can see how it works by looking at others but the detail in making the front pivoting section is hard to see.

    Thanks
