    My Motion Simulator:
    AC motor, Arduino, 6DOF
Hello, I'm building a 6DOF rig. I want to use AC motors. I'm from Sudan, so we have a really small electronics market. There's no Big DC steppers - biggest one is Nema 17- No Ac Servos. Only The other Ac type.
I wanted to use an encoder with 1 Hp ac motor. To turn it to a servo.
What should I do. If this idea is not possible.
I might consider using the water pump ac motor. After I take the pump components.
    Please Help!!
