    Hi All,

The first time I thought about getting a 6DOF was in 2014.
But family, work and lots of other projects already. Too busy.

Today with the arrival of VR I would like to take the plunge. Already equipped with VR and still passionate about a flight simulator, I took the leap and started construction.

    Hi,
Motors 90ST-M03520, drivers, & reducers 50:1 are ordered. I found a good seller on Aliexpress.
A lot of echanges to see how serious he is.

Now I'm looking for how to find or make the levers ( aluminium or steel ? ) .
Where to buy the ball joints, rods, etc.....

For solid shaft gearboxes that are keywayed one option are these bolt on flanges: https://www.robotshop.com/nl/en/14mm-set-screw-key-steel-hub.html

Alternatively I used the correct sized and length Mild Steel, Black Oxide Plating Rigid Couplings, which have the keyway and grub screws, and just weld the lever on the end: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/using-chinese-actuators.7304/page-3#post-86033

You will find ball joints on the likes Aliexpress.

Rods can be simple, like steel tube with a washer and nut welded to the ends, or exotic, like making them from carbon fiber.

The @Thanos controller is likely the easiest option, given your hardware.

    Hello all

First connection today with the Thanos controller.
Everything seems ok except that when connecting the AMC-AASD15A servo controller it will perform calibration and dont stop.
    how to do ?

Do you have some form of end stop?

If you are testing with motors without being mounted on linear actuators, or if they are mounted on rotary actuators (gearbox), you need to manually grab the motor axle to emulate hard stop...

With the mounted reducer I cannot block it.

You can connect simple switches on the AMC pcb to override the torque signal (or use NPN type Inductive limit switches as in the video)
