Perhaps @yobuddy can think of something to explain the repetative interference data spikes.

Then, in stead of the levers I decided to use the timing belt, and bought some other stuff here, from a store near home .....

... in the afternoon played with Ard and Saber.
Everything seem to be ok :grin
Manual movements with SMC3 are ok and manual movements with simtool too. Of course these are first movements but I'm happy for that.
For test I used the PSU of my old pc (12 V ) and it works if I change slowly the direction but if the changement is fast it shut down . But this is normal. The motor is 24 V 250W so....
    I'm ordering a PSU 24 V 1000 W. I think wil be ok for these motors

... Forgot one thing. In SMC3 the buttons motors on/off work only when them wants :think
If I click on it (this is for all 3) they don't switch or better, switch only sometimes but normally don't.

Hi guys, I finally finished some changes to my system but I'm facing a new problem and I hope someone can help me to solve it! :thinko_O
Anyway, everytime I start Game Engine it works until I go on output testing tab and when I click on Turn on, it crash after few seconds. I've restart both PC and program like 5 or more times and then it started working correctly but everytime I shut down the PC I have to do the same.
Looks like something is randomly killing the process but don't know what it is... I already checked if the windows' antivirus was blocking the program or if it could be some conflicts with other processes but nothing...
Is this happened to anyone yet? Any ideas?:sos:sos

Is there an actual error message and if so please open it and copy the full details here.

Hi guys, about the problem I have had, firstable sorry for the poor info I gave you.

    I try to explain better.

Before to modify the rig adding surge and traction lost, this was how it worked:

Switch on the power to the motors

    Open Game engine

    Motors were centered to zero

Start the game (Project Cars 2)

    Having fun J

    After the modify :

Switch on the power to the motors

    Open Game engine

    Motors are centered to zero

    Start the game

After fews seconds (random) Game engine shut down

It means the game engine window disappear from the monitor without any warning or message.

Maybe can useful for someone what I “discovered”

Normally (with the “old” rig) when Game engine is closed the motors lose the zero position.

The motors I mean, are the two for pitch and roll that move the seat on the universal joint.

In this case (with the “new” rig) when Game engine is closed both motors sometimes hold the zero, sometimes only one of them hold the zero but the other one no and this was really strange :think.

Then I thoug about some hardware problem

The difference betwen old and new rig :

    Two new motors

    Arduino

Sabertooth card (for new motrs installed)

One USB hub to connect PC with Arduino and 2 JRK cards I use for old motors for pitch and roll.

I eliminated the hub and connected usb cables directly to the PC.

Tested many times opening and closing Game manager and the game without problems.

I don’t know if can be possible a connection with the problem but at the moment this seems to be the solution.

In these days I will test again and if somthing wrong will happen I will upgrade this thread

Anyway thanks for the support ...and sorry for my english
