Showroom 3DOF to 4DOF Racing simulator

    My 3dof racing simulator needed a little upgrade so I added a heave action.
    I am using a fan cooled jrk and Banebots P80 gearbox/motor with a ratio of 81:1.
    PSU 12V 40A. Gearbox is little noisy but not too bad...

    Linear bearings to keep the movement linear as possible.



    Had to redo PID after this video because the motor was running too hot.
    Overshooting and not keeping the correct position was causing the motor to overheat.
    So more power to the motor and the heating issue is gone.
    Also 120mm case fan helped a little bit :grin
