Traction loss motor works great but unfortunately my two front motors are not strong enough to support me, I wish there were away to bump up the power to them. Guess I have to buy more motors.

The other option you may want to try first, given you have the hardware already, is to move the motors forward and turn it into a foot mount rig, as that significantly increases the inherent design leverage.

@noorbeast why will my rig work with the game on steam and not with Live for speed which is on my pc?

I still can’t get Live for speed to work with rig, don’t know what I’m missing, it works great with steam

Try and unpatch LFS, shutdown SimTools, run a race in LFS, then start SimTools and patch LFS for motion. Make sure LFS has a properly configured motion profile.

Ok guys, I just replaced my front to motors on my rig and for some reason they will not support the rig with no one in it, I know these are strong motors, I hear the power supplies fans shut off and the rig just drop in the front, it will support the rig for about 20 second…24v motors with 24v power supplies at 720watts and 30amps,don’t know what’s wrong, same motor on traction loss and it works great

Did you redo the software settings to suit the new motors and associated hardware?

@noorbeast I did redo the the motor setup in smc3 but not the simtool software. Whenever I bring up the smc3 software and it comes online and all the motors power up the fans on the psu spin really fast for about 20 seconds then I hear them power down and the front two motors shut off one at a time. I measure voltage at psu and it’s 24.7volts, I don’t know why they are powering down. It say “on” on smc3 but they are not powered up, have to close software and reopen for them to power back up for about 20 seconds.

    Thanks Stanley.
I believe that 200W should be enough power to move your rig and watching your video the rpm seem to be low enough to output an acceptable torque.
Could the motors be worn out and not performing as per nominal specs?
I've ordered two wheelchair motors, 250W 24V 75rpm as I've seen online other projects using similar products that seem to work well.

i dont know if they are worn out but whats strange both motors are acting the same way, what are the chance they are both worn out, i guess they could be. they work as should with linkages off but when i add weight they shut down. ia gonna weigh the front of my rig to see whats thats like

2CABA01D-70C2-4072-8310-52D439AEDFC2.jpeg @noorbeast and @fabrizio1203 It takes 22lbs to lift the front of rig using driveshaft under seat as pivot point. Do you think I need to move top portion of rig back some to lighten the load?
