Why are you so worried about a couple extra holes?

    I am a perfectionist:)

I have a lot of trouble to look for the latest layouts, where everything is so perfect ...

and now there are holes free! (And I do not know for what the holes are.)

Re: Wiper Motion Projekt Protocol by Interview 2010

Ok, well, look at the back of your board. Look at the board layout.

Those holes are labeled J?, meaning jumper. I don't know what was the original intention, but the jumpers would connect those lines somewhere else, most likely for debugging or some additional circuitry that is not used.

Just ignore them and carry on.

Re: Wiper Motion Projekt Protocol by Interview 2010

I've heard that a 1:20 Translation is the best!

    whether the proof I wrong!
    I know many just do a 1:5, 1:6 Translation ..

:) Frakk what you say? which is better?

Re: Wiper Motion Projekt Protocol by Interview 2010

I already posted this a couple times:

Keep it simple: Use a good quality, single turn 270° potentiometer, 10Kohms.

If you have 20 turns, the wiper has to move 20x faster, creating more heat and friction, wearing out faster.

You guys are worse than kids in kindergarten.... :D

How do you think Thanos figured things out? He didn't have anyone to hold his hand and tell him exactly what to do and buy....

He experimented with different parts and tested it himself! He also used common sense!

    270° or 300°, DOESN'T MATTER!

    Yes, SINGLE, LINEAR potentiometer!

Re: Wiper Motion Projekt Protocol by Interview 2010

    guys,

why do I have to separate the mass from my wiper motor housing if my frame is conductive.

(My mass in my wiper motor is the whole body)
