    Hey @wDOCw,

May i ask why you rated a video of mine as "funny"

Or are you talking about the hat ? If so Im sure you can Appreciate the small amount of detail in the Data the spring can pick up. Normally Micro osscilations were only seen through the keyboard mount doing a little Jiggle.

    oh yeah Nick !
I love the spring on the hat, is a stroke of genius that can make people understand what the camera does not transmit normally. really.
but it is also fun and funny to see first time:)
maybe you might also try for a more precise indication of the g force to put the spring over the seat, you would not have false movement due to neck and you could take a clearer position of the head.
I respect and I follow your work I like them because they are always well made and with excellent quality [IMG]

Thanks wDOCw, I thought about doing the Spring on the Seat itself, but what im really after showing is what the Driver's head is doing. (Yes it depends on how i rest my head on the seat) but overall I feel it works rather well.

lol Just wait and see How our GP2 mod comes out. ;)

I really like your design for the traction loss and wanna build it as well.

I maybe overlooked it, but have you posted the measurement of your traction loss platform somewhere ? The one with the wings attached.

And how does the turning mechanism work in the front of the rig where both platforms are connected ? is it just a bolt with two bearings ?

    Thanks and cheers

The Traction loss base is technically as big as the top frame is....so built it to your specs, Not mine.

The front is a Lazy susan bearing, it works fine, but if your planning on using a smaller bearing like a "pillow bearing" i suggest wheels at each corner of the rig to ensure it doesn't do any side to side wobble which the large lazy susan helps with being a 12" diam bearing.

Hey Nick really cool videos! Is it possible to see a video behind the sim but parallel to the screen. So i mean we can see what the car in game do and exactly at the same time if and how your TL is working... Mayby if its possible the show the car in game in the bird view for a better look when it lose traction control... In 5 days my motors from pgsaw will arrive. I#m happy like a 5 year old boy who get his first bike :D ...

Unfortunately Wowa I dont have the Physical space to get such a Camera angle and I honestly dont know if i could drive in Birds eye view, would sure feel awkward. In the coming weeks ill have a few more vids popping up for releases and "One" of them Has A LOT of traction loss action to say the least. lol

In the mean time this is what im working on,

Funny name for a bearing, never heard of it before. Are both sides fixed together or can you take them apart for screwing to the rig top and bottom ?

@Nick Moxley , Nick, not sure if this was asked already but how did the DK2 work out with rear traction loss? Did the movement match what you saw, did you have to adjust anything in game going from triples to DK2?

Better to ask an opinion of someone who has used the Rift long term with traction loss, like @SilentChill, @Boomslangnz and others.
