@Nick Moxley what settings are you running for graphics in AC? I am only getting like 150fps in single screen at the moment with my 970. now granted im not running SLI but i would expect slightly better frames from a OC'd 970 than that if you are getting what you are getting

Its the SLI thats adding all the FPS, Unfortunately i'm 99% sure one of the 2 cards I have received has shi* the bed. with testing single cards at a time, The FPS dropped to a more reasonable 120+fps. But once i have thing's back up and running ill get you the #'s i ran, I was Also rather Shocked to see 250+ Man does it look and Feeeel goooood tho.

SLI only adds about 80% of the frames your original card has and my card is a 970 overclocked faster than a 980 so i would expect to see higher frames than 150 if you are getting 120. Maybe ill just bite the bullet and buy another 970 and see what happens. What are your current Reflection settings at?

haha awesome thank you, you can acutally ignore my reflections comment the one setting i see that kills my fps is the post processing effects do you use them? i like the way the game looks with them but the fps just isnt worth it unless im missing something....also got that mugen shock in yesterday, night and day difference should have done it months ago

I do actually run the PP effects the reflection rendering quality is the one that KILLED it for me. From static to MAX it dropped the fps down to 45fps.

with no PP selected and everyhting else fully maxed out i get about 300fps on single screen, however i run tripples so its only about 140 on triples. i made changes to my pp similar to nick and now im getting 90ish on triples 170ish on single so im happy. just need to order another 970 to get me some more frames...you can never have too many frames

I think you know that AC has some issues using SLI and PP effects. SLI is broken with pp effects on and reflections at anything other then static or ultra. Only to our member information. BTW I get nearly same frame rates 120 FPS using 3780x720 (vsync on). I suggest you to disable smoke generation, this drops noticeably your frame rates.

    My AC Specs:
Res: 3840x720 / NVIDIA triple surround | Full Screen: On | VSync: On | FPS: off | AF: 8x | AA: 8x | World Detail: Max | Shadows: Max| Motion Blur: Off | Smoke: Off | PP: On; Settings: Ultra, Ultra, Off, 100%, Off | FAAA: OFF | Mirrors: High| HQMR: Off |Cubemap: Low | Faces per Frame: 6

PS: @Nick Moxley please if you spare time could you bench your system using the AC "benchmark"? If possible testing surround and 3840x720 pixel.
    HowTo:
Copy the contents to your Root Directory.
Select Special Events and select Benchmark.
Start the fps app and read the fps befor the race starts. I get 30fps..................after starting the race I get CPU warnings as well. Changing AA or AF does not affect the FPS, so IMO this could be a CPU limitation.

Nick has build a new PC using the same components I would buy so before I will upgrade my PC it is important to know how does it performs.

I had some graphical glitches in Windows. which would lead me to believe this problem isn't 100% AC related. I did notice the FPS drop like a stone when upping the rendering Fq.

Also your specs are old, there's no Faces Per Frame anymore nor cubemap. time to update

Are Faces per frame and cubemap still an option for triples ?
