    Just a comment for your consideration. With a lever its effective use of torque range is about 40 degrees up and down and a lever is most effective at 90 degrees to what it is acting on. Think of it like a door, it is easy to push open when you are at 90 degrees to it, but it is very inefficient if you pushed the edge of the door at zero degree.

    Your lever is actually rotating over the top, much like pushing on the edge of the door, which is not really efficient and will put stress on the motors.

    I set the motors up with a square along the rod. Lever to rod should be pretty much at 90 degrees. Is there a setting I'm missing?

    This may be true for the neutral position of the motors, though it is hard to see in the video.
    However, the movement angles of the motors are very large (seems to be more than 90 degrees per direction).
    One setting you could try is Axis Limiting in the Game Engine.
    If you feel that you have too little seat movements after limiting the angles, you can surely increase the lever length. Wheel chair motors have plenty of power, especially for a shoulder-mounted seat mover.

    I ended up setting the axis limit to 80 percent and it's fine now. I really can't find a sweet spot in the SMCS settings. Do I need a pwmmin and rev? Is kd ks important? I find as soon as I adjust something my sabertooth kicks off. Right now I have my kp at 200 and PWMmax at 150. Everything else at 0. Seems to.work and sabertooth stays on. Not sure if it's the best settings? Not sure why my sabertooth shuts down?

    Well I think I may have solved my issue. Looks as if my power supplies are going into a protect mode now and again. The fans remain on though so I didn't think anything of it. I have two hp 600 DPS supplies in series. Anyone have a suggestion for a good quality 24v power supply that will handle my wheelchair motors?

    You should find plenty of choices for 24V LED strip light PSUs on Ebay or Amazon, which should be a pretty economical and reliable way to go.

    Ended up getting 2 12v gel batteries that came out of the same wheelchair my motors were from. I'll try these with my server PSU for now and see how it goes. Also got the 24v charger as well. I'll keep everyone updated with my tests.

    Well the batteries worked quite well. I used the rig for a couple hours and the batteries were at 85 percent when done. I put the charger on for the night. May not run a power supply with them. They seem to be fine on their own.
