    Hi all.

I've been a lurker for awhile and think the community here is great.

Im planning on building a 2DOF add on to my 8020 rig similar to a Simexperiance stage 1 but with cheaper motors.

The biggest issue seems to be the availability of suitable motors in the UK so it could be some time before anything actually gets done!

Its going to be for Oculus by the way.

Wipers are not very powerful, so you need plenty of design leverage.

Have you worked out where you plan to mount and connect them on your existing rig?

My mistake. I thought the motors from places like simukit were wiper motors. Anyway im planning on using the type most people use on here.

Im planning on a seat mover with the seat in the same place as it is now and extending out the back. I can move the rig forward so ive got more room so that shouldn't be an issue.

Materials should be OK too as im a CNC programmer so there is lots of stuff available. Id like to be able to machine as much as possible but getting personal time on the machines is pretty much impossible.

Im planning on using MMs and Arduinos.
