    Hello everyone
I am building a motion platform on three phase motors.
    Controlled by SMC3
The platform is almost built. There are some minor management issues. I want to use a platform with glasses. But when the Oculus quest 2 motors are running, it issues a communication error with the computer

What type of motor controller do you use ?

Three-phase motors with vdf generate a lot of electrical noise

Do you provide a 0-10v signal to the vfd ?

This frequency converter uses a 5 volt analog input. On the board, I did not provide an opto-link to the operational amplifier. I'll redo the board soon.
The oscilloscope shows small fluctuations on the 5 volt line. I tried to install capacitors on the power supply. It got better but the problem remained

What exactly is the communication error, is it a USB disconnect or something else?

I tested on the epic roller coaster. The game starts. When the motors start moving, an error occurs - the connection to the computer is interrupted. This connection can be resumed and the game will continue. After a few seconds, the error repeats. The glasses are connected via a link usb 3.0 cable

Please post a picture of the full error.

The error appears in the glasses - the computer is not connected. I can't take a screenshot

And it only appears when the engines are running? There must be some conflict with the USB, you can try running simtools on 2 PCs to avoid usb problems

Try disconnecting the HMD, does the error still occur and if so please post a screenshot.

If it is a USB disconnect, then see the FAQs here, as HMDs can use a lot of USB bandwidth, and computers often share controllers between external ports: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/reports/785/

The problem is most likely interference. I redid the board, added an optocoupler to pwm - analog. It did not help. I can attach oscillograms if necessary, but when the motors are running. Interference can reach one volt. Now I plan to put the frequency converters in an iron box. I tried to isolate the control board, which did not bring the desired result.
Please look at the delay in work. This is fine? Who faced? I looked through the entire forum, but there is little information on the vfd motor

We assume that motors and drives are grounded

Of course they were grounded. I needed to additionally shield the signal wires. After changing the box and shielding, everything worked perfectly. There is no interference at five volts. Glasses no longer fall off. Thanks to all who responded.
