2021 Benchmark AASD15 actuator design

    Hi there,

    I have read several build threads, but just wondering if there is a consensus view on today's most straightforward linear actuator design to build a hexapod using AASD servo motors/ Thanos controller.

    I want to build 6DOF incorporating the motors from my SFX-100.

    My current think is something like @wannabeaflyer2 designed- but perhaps without the internal rail guides, as I don't think these are necessary when both actuator ends are fixed to Universal Joints.

    I have a 3d printer, and a pretty well-equipped workshop.

    Opinions gratefully received!
