    I just downloaded SPS 8.2 and put it on my Uno to check it. It compiled. I download utilities. I set my Uno's port number and it connected. It must be something on your computer like a firewall, antivirus or maybe language settings or something like that. Sorry you're having issues.

    Also you might try disconnecting all the wires from the Uno except USB and see if it connects to utilities.

    I disconnected all cables from the uno expected usb
    I tried to open utils as administrator
    I disconnected Firewall
    I changed rhe util com to 6 ( Arduino Com )

    It is the same....wirh sps i cannot open utils.
    With the older SMC sketch i can open the utils 1.01
    But no connection to the motors

    I uploaded SMC3 v1.0 sketch
    With this i can run utils v 1.01
    But no motor movement
    I only can use my potentiometer and the green line got a signal.
