The year is not over, yet but the current traffic metrics of xsimulator.net are so nice that i do want to share them with you, today:

    media-data-analytics-xsimulator-traffic.png
In the last 356 days a remarkable amount of 285.829 users were visiting xsimulator.net.
This generated more than 2.86 million pageviewshug:

    comparision-traffic-2016-2017.png

Compared to the previous year we had an increase of unique users by 37%. The pageviews increased by 18.2% .

Beside of that a few numbers dropped. So the pages per session went down by 13.47% and the average session duration dropped by 9.43%.

At a first glance these numbers seems not so good but after some thoughts about i came to the conclusion that its owed to our improved FAQ and the continuous support by our members.

These numbers are an indication that our users need to read less pages than before to find what they are looking for. We still have 4.45 visited pages per user session. This is huge if you imagine how many single posts we have on one page and how long unique (project build) posts can be. I know single posts which have hundreds of words and several images. So its more than remarkable that our user are reading more than 4 of those pages per session.

I hope to see us growing in the next years by the same percentage and i am looking forward to meet and greet more of you guys personally:thumbs

Awesome summary and trend...I expect it will only grow over time as member's creativity, contributions and innovation, combined with even greater SimTools functionality, make even the most sophisticated rigs and peripherals more possible for DIY builders!

It is such a versatile forum that anything I find I am looking for on Google has some related article here - And Google finds it :)

It's part of my morning routine:

    1. Get to work
    2. Have a coffee
    3. Open xsimulator.net
    4. Wish I was at home on my sim
    5. Open Ebay after seeing something on xsimulator.net
    6. Go home.

    :cheers

It's a truly global community and I am proud to contribute and happy to read and learn :) :thumbs Thanks, everyone!

lol I knew it @SixDegreesOfFlight your a teacher Ha , only someone of that determination could do such a great presentation in your work :) and if your not a teacher, you sure as hell classify as one. if only for you ability to pass on knowledge in lay-mans terms . This forum must be considered the GO TO place for simulation needs and information . Kick in the creativity , hard work of the team and members and you have XSIMULATOR.NET top o the pile ..just a massive big up Cheers to all who so freely volunteer their Knowledge and creativity to this forum ( yeah I know twice in one sentence but so true :)

Personally.......the increase probably has to do with all the positive talk I've posted on all the other sites where I boast about how much more intense, enjoyable racing games are with my DIY 2 DOF SCN5 motion rig I built with the help of xsim community. LOL;)

    Excellent Rene!
That is really amazing to say the least buddy! ;)

One of my favorite things about XSimulator, is when i see 'the light go on' for a sim builder.
When they fully understand how a sim setup works.
And then you see them go on to help others.
And the cycle continues, and i find it really fun to watch.

I remember when I started, it took me a year to fully understand how it all worked.
I really don't think it would take a month anymore to get a good idea of how it all works.
There is just so much more info on the website now.
And a lot more people to help out.

    Good times! :cheers
