    @Thanos,

    what are you using to load your batteries? I wouldnt like to use standard car battery chargers, as I would have to monitor the charging procedure. Do you use some kind of automatic charger? There are some quite expensive models available at ebay.

    Do you think I could load them both together, if I would connect them pararreled during charging?
    For example: If the charger is labeled: 120Ah batteries max
    Then it should be no problem to load two 45Ah batteries together, I think!?

    Regards
    Christian

    Hi Christian

    For charging my 100Ah battery, I use a Black&Decker portable charger with 2/6/10 amp charge rates. It even has microcontroller inside it to monitor the charge rate and automatically shutdown the procedure when the battery is full!

    Its model is BDV1084 and I bought it for 60 euro here in Greece in a discount offer. http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=145840

    What I really like about this charger is the 10Amp charging rate it offers! Depending on the condition of the battery it can take from 1 hour, to 3 hours to fully charge the battery!

    You can charge two 45Ah parallel connected with this charger in the same time you need to charge the 100Ah battery I have!

    A better model to choose if you affort it is the Black & Decker Bdv1085 that have charge rates up to 80amp!!!:
