Hi hunnijang, motors are DC gear motors I purchased here in Australia. I'm trying to remember where I got them, will let you know when I find the receipt. :)

Meanwhile, I have posted more details of my build here:

Hello, @noorbeast Thank you and How do you think about this frame working with 2 seats, 3x 12 250w motor?

maybe, I don't think it always use to be with the 2 seats. :)

just sometimes... ;) I am not a very fat but I want to lose some of my belly fat. anyway, I need to check it for my weights. :D

Triple monitors and 2 users, what weight do you think it would be, my guess would be 200+ kgs. That is a lot to move, particularly with heave.

What type of flight/aircraft do you plan to use, commercial heavies, recreational aircraft, aerobatics, or fighter planes/jets, or some combination of all of them? I am asking so we have some idea of how responsive it needs to be.

There are some useful insights regarding the use of springs starting on this page of @cthiggin's build, with the spring being crucial: http://www.xsimulator.net/community...-ac-platform-it-begins.5141/page-4#post-51380

I do think more leverage would be needed to drive the weight of 2 persons than just connecting to the bottom of the seat. I would be interested to know what @cthiggin, @BlazinH, @eaorobbie and others think about the design challenge.

2 people, Triple monitor's, Your gonna require some VERY precise balancing And or need to ditch the 2nd seat.

How are you planning to balance it when you Dont have a passenger ?

Some have already given you design things to consider, like how to keep it balanced for 1 and 2 seats and maximising leverage. Hopefully others will add some more ideas and concerns.

So do have a think about the challenges already raised and see if you can update your build plan with possible ideas or potential solutions, and keep asking members to give their views.

    @Nick Moxley Hello. Thanks. :)

you're alright.;) but I just will be where center of gravity on under the frame.

If not fit on passenger, I will be keeping some on 2nd seat likes my weights.

How about wood frame? it is works for that enough?

Sorry im not understanding "but I just will be where center of gravity on under the frame." can you explain further

same with "If not fit on passenger, I will be keeping some on 2nd seat likes my weights." Darn language barrier. :grin

Yes a Lumber frame will work, but must be build strong enough with enough supports for the weight required. Glue and Screw everything possible.

@hunijjang what I think you mean is that you intend placing your weight over the center of gravity and plan adding some sort of weight on the second seat for balance if nobody is using it. Is that correct?

@Nick Moxley Hello. Sorry about you don't understanding What I mean... :)

I still in contemplating the frame material.

I am never once weld and Also, I don't have a welding machine.

If the iron to make about in Where to producing... about 800$ but not at all.

Yes, it is expensive than aluminum profiles. but I think so, that is not Huge price difference.

    so, There are several choices.

    a. wood.

    b. aluminum profiles with glued laminated. or only aluminum profiles with aluminum sheet.

    c. iron frame.

Have you investigated what the properties of the spring would need to be and where it could be made?
