So Dirt 2.0 isn't working and I have tried alot to fix it.

I have two different PCs running two separate copies of both Dirt Rally 2.0 and Simtools 3
So I could determine if it was something within a pc or the plugin itself

One pc works as it should the other is broken.
On the Pc that is not working correctly I have played project cars as well to see if it was effecting more than one game and it is not.

So only DR2 on 1 pc is not working.
I have gone through the forum pages to try and find a solution and have done many of the recommended suggestion

    I have
    reinstalled the plugin
    Reinstalled the game
    reinstalled the latest graphics driver
removed one drive from my computer
edited the hardware setting file in notepad

Next I will reinstall Simtools3 but i don't want to lose everything so I'm hoping not too.

Resent changes to my computer was adding a PXN v10 ultra wheel and software.
I have taken it off and uninstalled their software.

What is happening is the the values are changing from default starting values to actual values so fast that nothing happens, also heave will reach over 1500.

So something of interest I found was that in the game and in the device history The PXN was remembered even though I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game. Which means there is a a file somewhere that is being remembered.

In that case using a 64bit computer Dirt Rally is patched to C:\Users\Your_User_Name\Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally

I did that. I lso stopped one dive from uploading my documents to a cloud and changed in steam where dirt saves the files. now they are stored locally. I swear it has something to do with pxn and its software. Dirt rally 2 doesnt have any ffb unless you edit a couple of device files. But I reverted now back to the orional and removed all traces that I can find of the pxn v10 ultra.

I just cant figure out wherte the disconnect is for the values coming from the game to simtools
