Ur Comanche team could have taken „LOADFACTOR SEMIBODY Y“. I would check in your place in simconnect if you don’t have a coherent value for heave from this variable.

Hi, I'm building 6DOF motion rig with hoverboard motor actuators. I've built first actuator for a try, and I'm stuck at connecting ODrive 3.6 with it. I managed to send data and it works in serial mode, but moves very erraticaly few rotations per time for small movement of slider. Sometimes it stops working completely, with no errors. I'm not sure what to type in serial window - p 0 <Axis1a><R0.A1.T><13> is it OK? I cannot find any tutorials, all of them are outdated. I don't understand what i need to type there, and "start", "stop" lines.
I have ODrive 3.6 with firmware 0.5.6. Encoder is AMT10E2 with 20480 cpr. ODrive PID is configured.

I have also built FFB stick (FFBeast firmware) and rudder with the same ODrive, encoder and motor, and it works perfectly.

I'm a bit confused about how the IF operations work. I can't quite understand what the Mover is supposed to compare — maybe an IN value? Or perhaps some telemetry data? It seems that the IF condition can compare one filter with another, but it's unclear.

I thought that by leaving the "VALUE" parameter active, it might compare the IN value to an integer. However, this doesn’t seem to work, and if the integer is too small, the Mover doesn't even allow it to be entered.

It would be great if the IF condition could compare things like acceleration, speed, or position — for example, comparing the heave value from a POSE (either IN or OUT). Just a thought, but maybe it could expand the flexibility of the system.

Hi, I've been running Mover 3.6.0 beta for years with no issue. I'm now testing Mover 3.7.0.9. I've created a generic profile for testing.
In 3.6.0, the connection button when clicked shows Starting and then Disconnect. Clicking again: Stopping, Connect.
In 3.7.0.9, the button only ever shows Connect, Starting or Stopping. I'm trying to connect to
FT232R USB UART and Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge. It appear to fail to connect to any COM port on my PC. The VR motion compensation also only shows Starting and Stopping. Never connected or "Disconnect".
I've set up the serial connections identically to 3.6.0.
What could I be missing? Thanks!

Adding any sources immediately breaks all serial port connections. Removing all sources immediately restores connections. Is that a bug or feature?

[update] An added SingleWave module was preventing serial ports connections. Removing it restores connectivity.

I had the occurrence of an instant reboot when clicking the Connect button for a serial connection. It hasn't reoccurred after the reboot. But haven't been stress testing it.

I presume all these issues have been well-documented in these forums.

Anyway, keep up the fantastic work.

For DIY arduino uno, ibt2, 3DOF motion rig should I start with stable or latest beta version? Also, are there any video tutorials you can recommend?”

    Hi,
I'm a fan of the FlyPt program.
    I have a stupid question.
Can we use the amazing FlyPt to build an FFB joystick?
Is it possible for an input parameter like Speed to cause the force on the motor to increase, not the position?
    Best regards,
    Tadek
