    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF
I installed SimHub and paid for the full license and the Motion license. My intention is to build a moving platform. I have connected three motors via an Arduino UNO V3 with a DK Motor Shield. I removed the jumper from the DK motor shield and plugged in a separate battery. The Arduino is plugged into a Windows 11 PC via USB Port 4.

In SimHub, I select Arduino and open the Arduino setup tool, select one Arduino, I upload the Arduino sketch with the DK Motor Shield option. When finished, the SimHub Scanning finds the USB Port 4 and advises that the Arduino is connected.

I then click on the Motion tab and Output Settings, nominate 3 DOF, and then click on Add new controller. I then nominate the SMC3 Controller. Flicking back at this point to the Arduino tab shows the Arduino is still connected.. I go back to the Motion tab, acknowledge that I want to set up the axis and nominate the connection Controller Port as COM4- Arduino UNO. I check the Arduino Tab again, and the Arduino is still connected. As soon as I click the Edit axis Assignments tab and edit the axis to be Rear Left, Rear Right and Front Centre, the motors won't move. When I go back to the Arduino tab, I notice the Scanning shows Not Connected.

Can anyone help me understand why and what I can do to fix this? I have tried everything, but as soon as I nominate axis assignments, SimHub disconnects from the Arduino, and nothing I seem to do will get it reconnected. I have tried this on two different Arduino UNOs with the same result.

Write exactly what you want to build , a platform for racing or flying ?
State what controllers you want to use IBT2 , sabeertoth , citron ?
I don't really understand what you want to use the DK Motor Shield board for, the orginal design does not require any additional board.

Just connect according to the arduino with motor drivers according to the diagrams published on the forum and everything will work properly.
And one more thing to one arduino board you can basically connect only 2 motors, the third motor will be badly handled, it is better to add a second arduino board.
What motors are you going to use.
    Generally provide more information.
