    Newbie question....

I installed V3 and got it working fine with my DOF H3 and Assetto Corsa, no problems...

I then thought I'd get used to v2 as well, so I configured the Game Engine and managed to set up the serial interface ok, and the test option controls the rig.

I'm stuck with the Game Manager though. They're both registered ok as "DIY", but my game selection list only contains the demo "Live for Speed". Should it have been pre-populated like in some of the youtube videos I've seen ?

When I try to download any profiles on here, ther's an annual fee, whereas I was able to download and install the V3 game profiles free ???

Forum member developed v2 plugins are hosted here and are incompatible with v3, which introduces the new integrated plugin repository system.

v2 plugins are accessible here either via forum activity coins or membership package, see the FAQs here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-and-how-to-download-plugins.2/

    Thanks for the reply Noorbeast.

I have to admit a certain degree of surprise at that if I understand you correctly.

So even after paying for the full lifetime DIY license for SimTools, none of the V2 game plugins are free ?

...and yet there's quite a full range of plugins for V3 as free downloads from SimTools website ?

Were the V2 (and V1) plugins ever previously available from SimTools for free ?

v1 and v2 plugin access was the same, the change is v3 that introduces the new integrated plugin repository model, which also allows the likes of commercial entities to maintain their own repository.
