    thanks for the link and the information, i didnt know. I completely agree, the vibrators do the job so much better! It is good if in certain cofiguration the jacks can vibrate, but I'm sure the result is much better with 2 separate systems. a cylinder / motor for large displacement and a powerful vibrator for small effect.

    @riton - I didn’t mean to imply shakers were “better” than motion actuators that can themselves reproduce vibrations and such. I was really just stating what gets obvious once you build a platform - There’s a range of frequencies and amplitudes that your sim motors can reproduce, but outside that range you may have to resort to other measures.
