i am interested in using bass shakers with Gamevibe.
but my motherboard has limited expansion
i have a motherboard that has 2 PCIe graphics slot, 1 PCIe 1x slot.
It has onboard audio. it is a MSI Z370M carbon gaming pr AC.

because i use this for Virtual Reality, i have used up the PCIe 1x slot to accomodate additional sensors for my oculus rift.

For tactile feedback, i have two amplifiers pushing shakers.
Do you guys think i need an additional sound card, or usb audio adapter... or i should be ok with the onboard sound to drive the two amps thru gameVibe?

You can use USB soundcards, they are pretty cheap and convenient.

I use 2 transducers configured for front/rear, 1 2-channel amp, and 2 cheap USB sound cards, one per channel/transducer

thanks everyone!!! :):):) wow.. even with out motion, i can still play with just audio devices... crazy!

what it comes down to is that i have
    a 1x) crown 1500W amp
    1x) buttkicker LFE
    1x) dayton SA70
    1x) arua shaker
1x) Behringer U-Control USB audio adapter that has 2 RCA outputs...
    and onboard motherboard sound

for the most part i just send low pass audio to all devices (yes, it sux when someone talks on teamspeak, i get a message)

but i like to take the audio a step further...

do you guys thing GameVibe can separate effects in to 3 independent feedback?
i like to implement a front right shaker, front left shaker, and a center back..
i know i will need a shaker.. will i need a third USB audio adapter? i also read about simVibe which is a whole other company, i hope Gamevibe can handle my desired setup of 3 independant shakers

Yes Game Vibe can do that and yes you will need a sound card for each independently controlled transducer.

I purchased mine on amazon, they were both generic 2.1 USB sound cards. They are cheaper on ebay if you are willing to wait.
