    Hi All,

I checked the SimTools configuration and found a nice solution to link forces and axes by a guide that define, which force belongs to a particular axes or rotation in a 3D coordinate system.
My problem is, what about if I have a simulator, that the motors are not working alongside of these axes, but they are mounted between the chair and the base of the simulator in an arbitrary degree.
As I remember, to compensate this, I need a rotation / translation matrix (matematics). How can I configure this?

    Regards

Can you show a sketch of your configuration?

That is a traditional 2DOF shoulder mount seat shaker design, many members here have built one for use with SimTools: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=site:xsimulator.net 2dof shoulder mount seat shaker&ia=web

As it is a 2DOF there is no third axis and I have no idea by what you mean by the following, can you please elaborate further:

    Hi,
I found this short declaration about the 6 forces and their names:
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/dof-angles-forces.15/

    1. assumption: the game itself provides degree information if the car should be pitched over (e.g.: on a hill...).
2 assumption: the linear actuators expects linear position information: how many units should I go ahead or backward...

Even the moving is linear, the mechanical construction allows to have pitch in a given range, but I have to calculate degree information into linear parameters. From my mathematical knowledge, the rotation matrix can be used for this purposes.

    Regards
