Rastus was one of the Sydney, NSW based sim fanatics and was active with the Aussie members and further afield on this forum A true gent on the forums and proof, if any were needed, that you are never too old to pick up a screwdriver and soldering iron.

Microsoft Flight Simulator X / Lockheed Martin Prepar3D Plugin

SimTools plugin for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin Prepar3D

  1. Update for SimTools V2

    Update for SimTools V2
  2. Angular velocities added

In this plugin the angular velocities [deg/sec] – pitch speed, roll/bank speed, yaw/heading speed – have been added to Extra1-3
  3. Added SimTools_GameManager.exe.config to Zip File

SimTools_GameManager.exe.config should be added to your SimTools installation directory automatically during patching.
If this is not the case, manually adding this file might help.
I therefore added the SimTools_GameManager.exe.config to the zip file again.

If you can patch the simulation but GameManager crashes after the start, please copy the file SimTools_GameManager.exe.config into the program directory of SimTools...
  4. Prepar3D support added

This plugin is a temporary plugin that supports both FSX as well as P3D.

There will be a proper P3D plugin that is based on the new P3D SDK later.

Please note: I have reversed roll and surge. Apparently they were the wrong way round. Please (un)invert the respective axes in SimTools Game Engine, if you have been using the FSX plugin before.

A big Thank you! to @Macka for testing (I'm still a horrible pilot :D )
  5. Fix for SimTools 4.2

    Fix for SimTools_RC1.2_4.2
