Haha yeah , I been on a lot of coasters in my time and they throw you around wildly.

It's a shame there is no output for the vibrations and bumps of the old rickety wooden coasters as they are all smooth and it takes the immersion out of it. They should be rattling you to pieces .

Hi @SilentChill Good video! I recognise the track as the "Cheetah Hunt" from Busch Gardens. Can you tell me where you got it? I reckon its one of the best 2 seaters I've ridden on.

    Cheers Mike :thumbs

Hopefully simvibe will pick up support for this. That will help a lot.

Not at home now, but I remember looking in output testing and seeing some shaking that I wasn't picking up.
Maybe some editing in tuning center will help to bring out a rougher ride on the wood coasters.

The part I miss is when being dragged up hill, the chain should give you a nice bump as it catches the coaster.

Just noticed they've updated again to 2.09.
So I'll update and do the screenshot again. Is yours @SilentChill ver 2.09
Here's the non steam version of 2.09 if it even makes a difference.

    Many Thanks @value1.
One question- the heave is set to a left/right action(orange square/black square) in axis assignments. I have set it too forward backwards (orange/orange) as this seems to simulate the ride more for me.
Am I doing something that's wrong for either the sim or the actuators?
Just that the heave pushing me side to side didn't go with the motion on track.

Welcome and a thank you! back ;)
I guess, you have a 2DOF. So you cannot move your platform up and down like you "should" with the heave signal.
Nevertheless, if your settings (orange/orange, orange/black, …) feel "right", keep them.
At the end it is all about tricking your mind into believing, your body moves like on a real rollercoaster :)
