Hi guys I want to share my experience and feelings about the view point, angels and position of the head between the screens.

IMO to get the best reality I spend some bucks buying three LED projectors to avoid any bars from any LED screens. One screen correlates a 55" display (width = 100cm = 3.28 feet). The view distance is ~110cm (3.6 feet).

The view to the middle screen always must be centered (vertical and horizontal)

3D is an option using the nVidia 3D Vision 2, unfortunately my glasses delivered last week and already w/o function are returned to the support (there seems to be a battery issue). I will review any experience about that later.

I'll try to give anyone an impression how the screens are "feeling". The cam of my smartphone shows some issues (flickering), nevertheless the picture quality is much better as shown in the video.

I really want three screens, but dont think i can justify three projectors! Maybe monitors..

    Looks awesome though

@Pit : can you share a reference of your LED projector?

Is it tricky to setup your projectors in order to prevent any overlapping of images?

I use LED pocket projectors, easy to mount and long life guaranteed. Justifying is no problem. But there are some important issues you should know.

    1) When multiple LED projectors are side by side, the LED modules have different native temperatures. For better adjustment and calibration of the LED temperatures you need an expensive software if this feature is not built in. The projectors which I use (Qumi Q7) have such additional hardware and calibration software.

    2) The light source of the LED projectors with up to 30,000 hours of operation has a very long life. I think you will never reach the EOL, you can use them 8/24/7 w/o overheating problems or anything else.

    3) You need a zoom. The Qumi's Q7 have a zoom (Throw Ratio 1.3 - 1.43 : 1) which is very helpful for justifying the screens. Some projectors have digital zoom, furthermore a horizontal and a vertical slider to correct any position faults.

    4) Expensive or cheap?! Cheap LED projectors have a plastic lens which is very unsharp at the beginning or you have to sharpen every minute up to 15min...the have less lumens and a low contrast ratio. The Qumi Q 7 have 800 ANSI lumens and a brightness with a 30,000:1 contrast ratio whcih makes them usable. It is possible that there a better (brighter) LED projectors, but do not know which ones.

As I have written above I use the Qumi Q7. They have many option to prevent any overlapping. At the moment I am testing so my results are far away to be perfect. But it is possible. you need very good bracket (or mounting). You will justify not only at the beginning of the installation, with the built in technology I can justify within seconds.

For the best results you should use a curved screen but you need a special software and you will lose probably some brightness and picture quality. But this is very common (flight simulator) and why not... :)

PS: no time to check any typos :) :)

I prefer a curved screen, apps to curve the graphics are becoming very cheap now, like 40euro.
The blend line is not so obvious with a curve, Hence I will be upgrading my sim to 3x 32" screens , bevels suck but price comparison about 1/3 here in Aust. , Projectors are expensive here if you want quality, I would buy them 2nd Hand either.

And yes POV is very important in racing games for sure.

Immersive Display Lite 2 does not work with Assetto Corsa.
Nikola Gidalov advices to consider Immersive Display PRO which has support for the newest game engines. Did not tried out.
