    G'day all,

Ok so after lurking around and posting a few comments its time to start my build thread.

I have ordered several items and more on the way. Some have started to arrive :)

The rig will be a seat mover as the comments I am reading about seem to say it is the most realistic model and probably the easiest to make.

I have ordered parts from recommendations of various member on this site and I will be relying on the 'collective masters of motion' to assist further with this build as I have not tried this before.

I will start with one screen, hopefully move to three later on.

Thank you in advance for all you help!

I heard a number of people say the JRK's are smaller than they expected but none of the photos really showed them... they arrived today and they are small!

Of course they do...that is why I own a red Supra ;)

That aside it looks like you have most of the major bits and pieces. Do you have a plan for the frame yet?

Funny, I started with a bit of a plan based on @bsft Desk Racer, but am already playing with some changes. Now I am moving toward winging it a bit myself. I guess any good plan never really survives the unexpected circumstance of your own criteria. :grin But it does help to have so many footsteps to follow that have already explored all sorts of design options.

@eaorobbie lays out some basic measurements here that may help, depending on your own criteria: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/2dof-diy-seat-mover.5271/#post-51590
