Great! Your advice paid off. I am now getting perfect feedback via my motion platform and far less bruising ;)

I had it backward. I assumed that a higher number resulted in more motion. Thank you.

As to lap times, I didn't do the challenge portion of your instructions correctly. I will try again tonight.

No lower the max min in the tuning centre results in more quicker movements ie they reach reach the max min more quickly

Now that is confusing, why then would lowering the min/max result in a broader range of movement and raising result in little to no movement at all?

The Tuning Centre allows you to define the minimum and maximum values of a given game output (e.g. pitch) that will result in 100% output of your simulator axis.

Let's say the maximum tilt of your simulator is ±13°.
If you drive a banked turn, the pitch value actually could reach 45°.
    Chicagoland_Speedway_ow.jpg Wikipedia)
However during normal game play a typical value might be ±8°.
Therefore if you enter in MAX MIN ±45 the full deflection of your sim (±13°) will be reached in this banked turn only but during normal game play there will be only very little movement.

Consequently you enter 10 into Max Min and the movement will be about right when on a "normal" track. Of course there will be no additional movement, if your car is tilted more than 10°.

Ok the min max in the tuning relates to the values coming in from the plugins (game values).
so if the values are reaching like 10 , -10 and our min max is set at 10,-10 then the axis is reaching 100% of the movement for the roll axis.
Now if we change the min max to 20,-20 and our values are still only reaching 10,-10 now the axis is only reaching 50% of the movement for the roll axis.
Now on the other side if we set 5,-5 in our min max and our values are still reaching 10,-10 it will reach 100% of the movement of the roll axis at 50% of the game value as in
it his the max at 5 and as the game value increase the movement doesn't. Getting these values to where you like is all part of tuning your sim, and we all have different ways that we like our motion to feel,
we are just lucky sim tools offers us the freedom to do so.

We no have a competition!! Great work Historiker... That was around the times I was getting until I started playing around with car setups. Didn't really know what I was doing but something I changed seemed to make quite a difference at least for one lap. :thumbs

    Time added to main leaderboard.

Yes, I am enjoying Raceroom at the moment. Unfortunately because it is still in Beta they haven't got multiplayer working as far as I know.

Hey Historiker looks like no-one is up for the challenge? I guess you and I remain 1 and 2 for a while!

By the way, was that you sent me a friend request in the game? I'm not really up-to speed with that side of things and can't find anywhere in the game where it shows the friends. :p

Hey Rufus, no I did not send you a friend request but I should have :D

I am sure others will join us eventually. I have another friend who lives in Australia that I am trying to talk into joining this community if for nothing else but this. You all might get him to join in some race nights.

Nice work, looks like I need to spend some more time on the track now! ;) I'm impressed the car was untouched - I reckon I'd be at least 10sec off that pace with the stock car setup :think There are a couple of corners I loose alot of speed to stay on track.

    Leaderboard has been updated :cheers

    Hi
I think I have some advantage, I´ve driven the Aquila in the early Free Trial.
Mhhh around 1000 Laps I´ve done;)

The Track looks easy but it isn´t , as you mentioned you can loose speed in the corners very easy.
It´s hard not exceeding Track limits.
Go for some more Laps !

    Cheers
    Kai
