6DOF FlyPT project for sale

Now that I finally managed to get FlyPT to recognize telemetry from games, I moved on to assembling the platform. And it turned out that not only the U-joints cracked—other 3D-printed parts also broke. Never use 3D-printed parts in your devices where there is any load. This is the result: everywhere there was stress, everything broke apart. And I haven’t even used the platform for a minute yet; the actuators are still sitting on my desk... The previous owner said it was used for a maximum of 20-30 hours. But that was enough time for failures to start appearing in all the joints and mechanisms. I don’t even know how safe it is to build this platform under these conditions. It looks like for safe use, all the actuators will need to be rebuilt, and all these 3D-printed parts replaced with metal ones. Now I’m starting to understand why factory-made actuators are so expensive. I recommend everyone to buy those if you don’t want to suddenly fall from a height because of another broken part. Hi. I'm from Estonia. As you’ve seen, the simulator has a lot of problems. The design of the actuators is just unbelievably bad. Almost everything that could break is either already broken or cracked. Today I found even more issues. The support bearings have completely fallen apart and all of them need to be replaced. And instead of one of the support bearings, there’s actually some kind of 3D-printed part installed…

How it should be...

Honestly, this all just feels like some kind of mock-up or prototype. It would require a lot more money, effort, and time to make it usable. This is not a ready-to-use platform at all, as was claimed in the sale. These are spare parts, broken pieces, anything—but not a fully functional device. Both the execution and the engineering are simply unacceptable. The creator and seller claim that they used it for only 20–30 hours. And in just 20–30 hours, it completely fell apart! Either they were incredibly lucky and stopped using it for family reasons just before everything totally broke down, or they assembled some kind of nonsense following online guides, and when they realized how poor the result was, they immediately tried to sell it while hiding all the defects present in both the construction and the execution.

I have this feeling that people don’t actually read the thread before jumping to conclusions…
The problem is, if the seller had immediately mentioned the broken U-holders, that many 3D-printed parts didn’t survive use, and that the support bearings also fell apart… I PROBABLY wouldn’t have bought it. Don’t you think?! Look at the videos and what the seller wrote when selling it. Now do you understand the issue?

Let’s go back to your analogies: you like a car in an ad and decide to buy it. Seller sad it is perfect. You buy it and then see that it’s barely repaired and doesn’t have a single airbag. Is that okay? It’s a second-hand market, after all. Why expect honesty from sellers… that's your logic?

I think you've lost your patience a bit.
All platform enthusiasts spend a lot of time building.
This gives a lot of satisfaction and experience from the work done.
If you have a lot of money and don't feel like building, it's really best to buy something commercially ready...
I'm very sorry you didn't manage to get this platform up and running.
