'Vector 36' seriously needs plug-in

    Vector 36 is a hovercraft racing game in Mars. It's like something between sim racing and flight but has very unique physics and feelings. There was a thread long time ago about this game but there was no telemetry in this game at that time.

    According to the developer, now Vector 36 provides telemetry for motion platform. I have no idea how hard to make a plug-in for a game but I really wish some one would try making one for this game. I think Vector 36 could be the best game for motion platform, maybe better than roller coaster simulations.

    You can easily find Vector 36 on Steam, it's PC & VR compatible, hotas controller supported.

    Please some one make a plug-in for Vector 36!!!!

    I contacted the developer of Vector 36 and asked if he would provide such information. He made a plugin by himself and sent it to me but it didn't work (or maybe I don't know how to enable it...). I add the plugin to simtools and click 'patch' button, then it shows this message "You must first install and run the game once prior to patching, You may also add custom game installation directories below". I did run the game several times but the message kept showing and nothing I could do. I attach the plugin file for your reference.

    Just checking, did you do the following in this order: un-patch the game, create the required directories, run the game, then re-patch?

    First of all, thank you very much for your reply and I'm sorry I didn't do anything you mentioned... I'm really really new to this stuff but I'll try my best to describe. I think the game is not patched. Still the 'patch' color on the top of the game engine is red, I assume it means not patched yet. And.... I don't know how to un-patch the game, I'll try to erase the game from the drop down list but honestly have no idea how to. More and, I don't know what is required directories so I can't create them....

    I thought I did everything I could but it seems there are some more I can try. Please let me know what to do. I really want this game with motion.

    Grab a copy of the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

    The basic steps for a new plugin are first shut SimTools down, open the Plugin Updater and drag the plugin zip file onto it, which installs the plugin, you can then close the PluginUpdater and restart SimTools.

    Next a new Axis Allocation has to be created for the new game in Game Engine, you should have already configured a generic Default Profile and it can be cloned by first selecting Default in the drop down, then select the new game in the drop down, which will keep the settings from the Default Profile, and then hit Save. You can tweak the settings later

    Game Manager is used to patch and un-patch games, the Patch button can be used to patch a game, or if a patch is already in patched to remove that patch.

    Obviously the Vector 36 plugin has some additional requirements, that it be run before patching and some folders need to be created first.

    I hope that helps as I don't have Vector 36 and can't actually test it.

    well, a year half pass and ill try vector with this plugin. patched works green shows but no movements any progress?
