    Thanks for the answer! I guess il will maybe go with 2 BTS and cool both heatsink with 1 80mm or 120mm fan.

    Few photos of my ibt2 progress for you all.

    I decided to run 4 ibt2 my motor has a stall of 36 amps. Calculated by resistance of coils over 14.4v

    Backed up also by the fact of the fuse box that the motor come from being 40 amps.

    Box is 3d printed to hold 4 ibt 2 with a 92mm fan on top which isn't in the photo.

    I wrecked a few ibt 2 units trying to fill the vias so I have decided to now use artic 0.5mm thermal pads and leave the ibts alone. I figured 4 should happily handle the amps split.

    All the best.

    Hi all I wonder if anybody here can help me with an issue in regard to more than 2 ibt2.

    I tried to setup 4 units with ferrules and a custom track pcb for the ic controller lines. I made sure everything is connected correctly. However when I add power to the ibt. Nothing happens just the gnd starts getting warm on the 5v side.

    The units all work still but it seems any more than 2 units.

    It feels like the ibt units are shunting voltage to the gnd. Kindly can anybody who has setup ibts in 4 get in touch with there success please. Cheers

    Sorted now 4 ibt 2 work in parallel. Issue is poor grade connectors from amazon. Cheers everybody can confirm no issues.

    Hey guys. I managed to get my direct drive wheel working with the stm32. I am now having trouble getting my g25 pedals working. I connected them like this diagram says. I also have it setup to 3 axis mode in the setup. I can get the gas pedal going sometimes but the other 2 pedals don't do anything.

    I made all the connections off of the factory g25 connector. I just attached to the pins I needed. Could that be a problem maybe?

    Bro, can you give me tips on how you attached your encoder like this? I have a project similar to yours but I'm having trouble attaching the encoder

    you may need a pull up / down resistor on the encoder signal wire

    take a 1k resistor and wire from the signal wire to ground - if that does not work wire it to 3.3v

    Regards

    the connection itself I know, I really want to know how it locked the encoder behind the motor like that

    @Gadget999 sorry my english, maybe it left you confused, I saw the photo of his project and I would like to know how to attach my encoder in the same way

    drill the motor shaft and fit a pin

    connect the encoder and the pin with some rubber pipe

    I came to think similar, using a screw instead of the pin ... but due to the size of the encoder axis it would still be far away, so I believe that cutting the encoder axis would be the solution. thanks for answering

    Hello everyone! I have a question that may affect those who went with Leonardo vs. STM32.

    My current setup is the Leonardo, and I have it at 100% gain in the Ai Wave firmware. For Assetto Corsa, I can increase the FFB gain to more than 100% to get a good feel, and in Iracing, I can adjust the settings to output enough power to my wheel.

    However, in Assetto Corsa Competizione, the maximum gain for FFB is 100%. It's not bad, but it's way less than in AC or Iracing. I am not aware of any mod that can adjust the FFB in ACC.

    If I change my board to STM32, do I have more control over the gain (as opposed to Leonardo)?
    Or would the maximum gain of STM32 with MMOs the same as Leonardo with Ai Wave?

    Thanks in advance!

    I have a question. I have plans to use a 1000w 48v My1020 motor. Someone mentioned on this thread how a certain amount of current is what determines the torque and that I should stick to 12 volts. Does this mean I can use a single motor driver and it will work, albeit with limited power? Or will it just die? I don't actually plan to use the BTS driver and instead is planning to use the Cytron MD30C driver that someone on here recommended because it didn't die on him, but he was using the 24v 500w My1020. My plan was to get around 3nm or more with no heat issues that I can one day upgrade to increase the torque by adding more drivers, but maybe I am misunderstanding something?

    Hey everyone, I figured out that ACC has a force feedback post process. To change the power graph, to go Documents, Assetto Corsa, cfg folder, then open ff_post_process. Here, you can change the GAMMA value. I have changed the ENABLED to "1", and changed the VALUE to "3".

    [HEADER]
    VERSION=1
    TYPE=GAMMA
    ENABLED=1

    [GAMMA]
    VALUE=3

    this motor driver can handle 100A

    it has 2 channels so you could use them together and get 200 amps !

    I was wondering if my1020 brushless motor is a better or worse choice as a DD wheel motor? Thanks.

    I am not sure you will get a smooth feeling with a brushless motor

    Try it out and see if it works

    What will you use for the motor driver ?

    They are for dc motors not brushless motors
