Do you plan on motion just for the seat, or the whole frame, as the latter has a lot of mass?

That is going to be awesome! @noorbeast is right (as usual) about the mass being a concern. But if you pivot it around the center of mass it will be a lot better. I use 1/4 horsepower DC motors on my semi-JoyRider style sim and it works fine. My frame isn't as massive as yours, but I have plenty of motor power to spare and instead was blowing motor drivers until I tuned it down a bit.

I passed some years without play with my steering wheel, i don´t know why but the steering wheel was stuck...:confused:

Time to repair the steering wheel:

After checked some parts, i saw that the problem was in the a lot of pressure in the gear from the motor...
To solve the problem i widened the motor mounting holes to relieve pressure in the gears...

    Now is better... :)

I need your opinion... Considering that I'm going to use a triple monitor...

    IMG_20200521_193733 - Copy.jpg

Do you think it looks better with or without coverage?

Its a trade off, looks are one criteria, the other is performance, so the less mass the better for the latter.

It´s true, i will try made the two options, adapt the actual coverage and make a new without coverage and after i will see how it works with motion...

    The coverage have 11.6KG o_O The rest I don't know yet ...
