Not very expensive, the laser cutting and machining are made at my job in falls, the only things I bought are the switches, the knob and the card leo bodnar, about 60 euros in all.

    hey mimi,

    i really like your build.
especialy the creative way to build the u-joint for the seat.

are the blue parts in the controlbox 3d-printed or metal?
    (motorarm)
is it a crank style like simukit uses?
can you please provide details on this.

I´m looking for a solution here for my own build.

    thank you!
    again, great work! :)

    hello

The parts in blue are all in metal (laser cutting).
I designed the cranks myself, but they are inspired by those of simukit.
I still have the plans if you want...

That some slick looking work. Curious if you have the schematics for the DIY H shifter?

    hey, it‘s me again ;)

i found your simulator in a video by randomly browsing youtube searching for 2dof seatmover.
it‘s great! you should really link it in your startingpost

i‘m impressed how smooth and direct the movement is.
would you mind to share your simtools settings here?

are you using the 120w or the 400w motors from simukit?

    thank you for building this.
    it‘s such an inspiration! :)

    hello

I use the 120 w motors, they are sufficient for a seatmover, they don't heat.

My settings (for Assetto Corsa) in Game Engine are : surge 45%(with 10% smoothing), sway 35%, heave 20%, roll 15%, pitch 15%
in tunnig center: roll 15/-15, pitch 15/-15, heave 1/-1, sway 1/-1, surge 1/-1

I have a potentiometer which adjusts the effects in game from 0 to 200%.

    hey!
i followed your idea here and rebuild my sim setup these days.

we talking about stealth materials in my thread.
can i ask you what you used and what your experience with it?

    seat platform is steel, right?!
    how thick is it?

    and the ground platform?
    steel or wood?

thanks for helping me again ;)

    Hello

the seat platform is made of 5 mm steel then above a 16 mm wooden panel (to reduce the vibrations of the buttkicker) and another 3 mm steel plate, the bottom platform and the sides are made of wood. everything has been working fine for several years, nothing has broken, just check that everything is tight, once a year (I put tread lock).
For the construction, I followed a tutorial from Momoclic on the pcshm site (thank's to him), it is necessary to not implement everything any way to have the best feeling possible, but it is complicated to explain, the best is to watch the tutorial ...:)

    good luck;)

    hey buddy!
i‘m in movement settings right now.

if i get it right, you have an additionally potentiometer to tweak the ingame settings in acc?
    how did you do that?
