What is the cheapest motion sim setup I can make? I understand that the best type is a 6dof stewart platform, but I want to keep costs as low as possible. Of course I can spend more if increasing my budget a little bit will drastically improve performance. I am pretty new to this, so any help is welcome.

    Thanks!

The cheapest is likely a 2DOF based on wiper motors using an arduino and clone MMs, plus a LED PSU and second hand seat.

Oh I bet it simulates wind - sporadic but gusty, may also include warm rain and mud... :grin
