    Status updating...

Doing the test with engine and LFS. I`ve needed to do make some adjustments in CFG archive (LFS folder)to recognize the SimTools system.

By the way, it was necessary to change the parameters of CFG as below:

    OutSim Mode 2
    OutSim Delay 1
    OutSim IP 127.0.0.1
    OutSim Port 4123
    OutSim ID 1
    OutGauge Mode 2
    OutGauge Delay 10
    OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1
    OutGauge Port 4124
    OutGauge ID 1

After these inputs, my tests were done successfully with the game. Also, I tried to upload the video with the test but it was not possible.

The structure was concluded and painted. I`m starting to connect the parts to finish the building.
Now, I have a problem with the chair balance because when the engine is not working and someone is sitting down the chair move an inadequate way. I did some tests with springs but it was not enough to solve the problem. If someone has an idea, I'll really appreciate the help. Thank you.

It sounds like you are describing motors being back driven when not powered on, that is common for 25:1 gearbox ratios.

A mechanical chock is about the easiest solution.

I have found that even 50:1 ratio gearboxes can be back driven once they are worn in, but 60:1 can't be back driven under normal sim loads.

Dear, thank you for the information and support. I'm using engines with 63:1 gearbox. I confess to you that I didn't wait for this problem. As your recommendation, I installed five mechanical chocks (four with 60N and one with 120N of force) and the balance was improved, but I need to do the test with the chair and game to be certain. Thank you again.

Almost everything concluded! Next Step: Project Cars2 plugin. Could someone please confirm if the Project Cars1 plugin works in Project Cars2? When I tried downloading the PC2 it was not available.

    Nice work!

You are not alone with your seat moving & drooping while unpowered.

I have 50:1 gear motors on mine, and it does the same.

When not playing anything motion enabled I usually just power each motor up by using the Pololu JRK config utility and let them zero & lock to center.

It's not an ideal solution, and not really advised to do, but it works and I'm usually not playing non-motion games for very long (because they're now boring to me ;)).

If it becomes a problem it would be simple enough to create some small motor lever locks/blocks to place under each one, or some form of a kickstand-type of device for the seat.

Best of luck with your build!
