Just popped in here to wish you a Merry Xmas, and noticed how far your rig has come along.

    Wow!!

I think this may be a record build time from the point when you finally received all of the parts to completion.

Congrats, and glad to see that you also managed to sort out your minor hiccups and are now enjoying your rig.

It seems like you've got a handle on how things go together, excellent job!

    Very nice and sleek looking.

Makes me wish I'd done the same and built mine from aluminum extrusion as well...maybe next time!

If I do that, then I may add a 3rd degree and step-up to traction loss, but fear that it may negatively affect how well VR works once side-to side movement is added.

Cheers, Merry Xmas + Happy New Year!!!

Finally got the rig put back together. Time to download some plug ins for more testing with different games.

Turned off motion and went around a few laps and WoW, what a difference! It’s so satisfying to drive now. I haven’t even messed with the tuning yet. Its all just basic right now.

    Yup!
Once ya go motion, it's VERY difficult to have that same satisfaction with a static rig.
The only saving grace is if you have enough Buttkickers to help shake it around a bit.
    Even then....meh......

Playing around with the push rod placement. Lengthen and moved it in and up closer to the hips for better leverage.

Hi. Congratulations, I really liked your simulator, beautiful and very compact to be with movement. A greeting.

Hola. Enhorabuena, me ha gustado mucho tu simulador, bonito y muy compacto para ser con movimiento. Un saludo.

The ideal is to use the "simcal" tool to calculate the force and angles, the very powerful power supplies, the bad of putting the motors underneath. The closer to the shoulders this support the less effort for your engines.

I know that but i wanted a compact design and this works for me. Motors are strong enough. I have to tone it down because it was throwing me around too much.

If it's very compact, and it looks nice, The engines are new, did you buy them on ebay, are they a car? How much did they cost you? I use some of scrapping and they go well too. I use the translator's apology.

Yes they are new from ebay. I got them from PGsaw ebay store. Very powerful motors geared 50:1 for more torque.
