    Thanks for the info, that seems promissing indeed. Just to make sure I understand correctely, with such a solution, will there still be a need for external position sensors ?

    This is just a small model with about 40cm. The motors are only RC servos. I only built the model to test the control via SimTools.
    I'm planning a big version with these engines

    Really awesome if that's the case. I looking forward to having more information regarding this feature.
    Are you planing on making some tests with your Clearpath servo at some point ?

    @xxpelle
    I really like the design of your scale model, very neat.

    Hi Pelle,

    Wie hast du die Maße für die Boden Plattform und die obere Aufnahme errechnet?
    Würde gerne einen solchen Simulator bauen. Ich nutze jedoch folgende Motoren mit einem 8:1 Übersetzungsgetriebe.

    Danke

    Hi Pelle,

    How did you calculate the measurements for the ground platform and the upper seat?
    Would like to build such a simulator. However, I use the following engines with an 8: 1 transmission gear.

    Thank you

    Hi just a thought from my own experience, I really wouldn't use these they are 8 euros for a reason https://www.ebay.de/itm/Double-BTS7960B-DC-43A-Stepper-Motor-Driver-H-Bridge-PWM-For-Arduino-Smart-Car/200950936475?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

    I would extremely and highly recommend using sabertooths far superior to those. I have tried them and they were garbage for my 6DOF. I would spend the extra $$$$ and buy once not 3 times like I did ;)

    @SilentChill thanks for your tip.

    But my Steppers have their own driver. I can control them with an arduino.
    So i dont need a Sabertooth or something else.

    did you use steppermotors?

    You are buying worm gear motors no ? The link was to worm gear motors anyways. If you are using stepper motors you wont need the driver that you linked either ?

    I dont have stepper motors I have SMC3 code running on 3 x Arduinos running 6 12v DC Motors
