    Hi Members
I have been receiving quite a few Emails/PMs in regard to the release of a G seat. Unfortunately my limited spare time has been engaged in building Harness Tensioners. I expect this to soon change, so hopefully stay tuned for some news in the next few weeks.

I will likely keep building Harness Tensioners until there is no interest, but it's also nice to work on new projects and will listen to the market.

Design finalised and parts ordered for the first commercial system. It will be a bowden cable back/adjustable sides paddles system with the option of a 'back-heave' function. Once it is finished, I will put up some pictures/video.

Just a update, have been testing my paddle based G seat insert, but was not happy with how it performed compared to my own G-Vest setup (fussy I know ) So have come up with a design which borrows some of the technology used from my own G -Helmet. Stay tuned, I'm actually excited with the potential of this one.

New design G-Seat still progressing as parts arrive and components are built. Initial tests have gone well. Like my G-Helmet it is a pneumatics based, 'free to move' system.

May I ask how many "actuators" there will be in total and have you gotten far enough to be able to estimate a sales price?

To keep costs down likely to be just a two actuator system to begin with, but the possibilities are endless. For testing I'm using components similar to what was used in my helmet, which are a touch on the expensive side. Cost will depend on what is finally chosen.

Thank you for your reply mate. :) Its quite difficult keeping costs down when it comes to most any kind of motion simulator so good luck with that one. My experience has been that even when I think I've come up with a low cost solution to something by the time I consider all the little odds and ends that I hadn't factored in yet it ends up not being near as low cost as I thought it was going to be. :(

So true, although never said it was going to be cheap :), just trying to keep the costs down. It's a modular system, so happy to build just for my own sim if they end up too expensive to attract customers.

Ah just 400$ I thought... Nearing 900+ now with tools and little bits lol.

Looking forward to seeing this pneumatic system! I bet I will give it a go myself one day
