Guys I recently discovered Vector 36 and dude It bridges the gap between racing and space sims IMO. http://vector36.com/

Would be great if there was a PlugIn for it though!!!

If vector36 provides some kind of telemetry data, no problem...

I too have recently discovered this game.
It works amazingly well in VR with a HOTAS (Thrustmaster Warthog).
Motion would be an awesome addition.
Even just DirectInput with joystick tracking would be better than nothing.
Will investigate this further once my 2DOF MP is completed.

Vector 36 does look pretty cool.
Anyone know if the game supplies the needed telemetry for a plugin?
    Take care,

    thx paulopsx2,
When publishers tell me that, I usually tell them that should they want to add telemetry in the future, 7000+ unique people visit the sight a day, so it may be worth their while.
(@RayRay, is this still the correct number buddy? 7000+)

Thanks for tracking down the info man!
    Take care,

I've done some testing with the joystick plugin + Vector 36, and unfortunately it doesn't seem to work.

It appears that the game requires to be in focus for any controller to work with it, as does the joystick plugin for the motion platform to work.

I can only choose one or the other at any given time. :(

Considering that several other games do indeed allow for the game to be run in the background (such as Worlds At War & Wreckfest) while the joystick plugin is controlling the platform, I assume that the fault is on the game side and not the plugin side.

Unless of course I'm doing something wrong with my usage of the plugin.

The only way I can get it to work is if I leave the plugin as the last app in focus by clicking on the header bar of it, and not close selection the window.

Whenever I allow something else to have focus the platform stops moving.

I'm not sure if this is the way it's supposed to be, or if I'm doing something wrong. :think

If in fact I am missing something, then I think that the joystick plugin would work with almost any game.

I know that with my old NLRv3 motion platform that their similarly functional DirectInput controller did work while it wasn't in focus.

I'll re-post this in the Joystick Plugin thread in hopes of catching the ear of the plugin author and see if there is any sort of a solution, or steer me in the correct usage of it. :sos
