Bro no offense but you HAVE TO get rid of the triple screen setup and get a vr headset. The immersion a vr headset gives you>>>>>the better res of a screen. Once you go vr, you can never ever go back to normal 2D gaming.

Wow have you seen this 6 dof by Brunner?

Probably at least 3 times the price though...

    I am getting the p3

And i am getting the upgrade for p6

The p6 upgrade kit + the p3, is the same as getting the p6

I am so curious about how it is going to look the p6.
Please, if you get news about it, share it.

    Thanks!

Not really sure my reply didnt appear

Thanks for the video and the good review but i still have a couple of questions

Does it feel smooth while turning ?another user on fb mentioned its jerky
Like every 5 degrees it steps which is a deal breaker for me but he owns an H2
    Cant judge from the video

Its good that u flew real planes before
So now how it is compared to the real thing ? I fly mostly jets

Check out the diagma 2 video above at the 5 minute mark. I test the flight angles. I see no stepping. If there is any you don't feel it, and even if there was some stepping in game it just feels like being moved around by air pressure.

It's possible he had his setup wrong. Software can be difficult to understand especially in the beginning. He may have had his smoothing totally off or too much power. He could have had motor directions reversed. Could have been just a bad motor. It also could have been the game. Every game has to Output its telemetry. Or perhaps his computer could not handle all that. I know when I play X-Plane 11 in VR it's strains the hell out of my computer , I have to OC like crazy to get consistent frame rates. And I have a pretty bad ass computer. So I can imagine a less than bad ass computer may have a problem running the game and the motion software together.

As far as I can tell the rig is very accurate and very responsive. If I turn the yolk very fast the rig turns very fast, if I turn very slowly the rig turns very slowly. I have never fell any stepping whatsoever in mine. Then again I'm usually strapped in VR, with bass shakers and such, and you really lose yourself in there and believe it. So I guess it could be possible that on occasion the motor steps but again I don't feel it. Also on a side note these are motors with a transmission basically. They are not actuators. I'm sure that they more sloppy and slower to respond then actuators, but for one it's so much quieter, and two at this price one can only expect so much.

As for how does it feel compared to Flying A real plane? I would have to say very close. Now of course this is in Cessnas and Pipers and Beechcrafts. I do fly the F4 Phantom in X-Plane and it is amazing. I have no reference point because I've never flown a jet. I would say the small engine planes simulate better because the Sim rig cannot simulate G forces. It uses gravity to give you the effect of G forces. In a small plane this is really noticed, in the Jets you're moving so fast, you lose some of that realism imo. But it's made up for a hell of a time going Mach 1 in VR is still Epic.

If I had to do it all over again I would. Hth

If you want to truly simulate Jets I would recommend:

    https://www.brunner-innovation.swiss/product/cls-e-joystick/

    With:

    https://virpil-controls.by/en/shop/vpc-mangoost-50-cm-grip-vpc#vina-tab

Or the thrustmaster warthog. Which is nice because it's metal not plastic, but unfortunately they don't just sell the grip.

Since my yoke kept breaking live on camera, I decided to go with the Brunner yoke which is force feedback like the joystick above... Game changers...

I can't see the track properly. The upcoming turns are Abit fuzzy. iRacing is pretty good in VR. Project Cars 2 hurts my eyes because I'm trying to look ahead at the turns and I can't really see them because they're blurry. Like an over concentration.

Also I like being able to be free while I race, meaning I can drink or vape or look at my phone for basically do anything because I don't have this massive headset strapped to my head. After a few hours it becomes very cumbersome.

Meanwhile I can spend unlimited hours in my triple monitor setup. And I can do whatever I want. I think the field of you needs to be improved with VR and even though my Vive pro has the best pixel count it's still not enough being that close to your face.

Again in Flight VR is amazing, but for driving I switch back and forth

It's a new rig. P3 is not upgradable to P6.

According to the dofreality website the P3 is upgradable to the P6, there’s a chart at the bottom of their web page. Not sure how much is upgradable, assuming it’s the same as the one in the YouTube video, probably at least the motors.

I don't know the details but I asked Igor:

    - Are you planning to release another updated version? P4 maybe.
    Answer: Yes 6DOF H6 home for $3499 and P6 for $4999.

    - Is the P3 upgradable to P6?
    Answer: no
