Aw crap, I'm a new user here and had forgotten to introduce myself.

I'm from the US, in Los Angeles, California. Greetings to you all! This is a wonderful forum. Looking forward to experiencing the motion sim world. I really do need to get an avatar soon, besides the one that keeps reminding me of my gender sign.

Hello everyone, I'm sorry for my English from google. My name is Marco, passionate about engines, electronics, self-construction, I started to follow this forum to understand how to build a 2dof, but without the steering wheel I did not leave. I approved the steering feedback with the opel 1.2l electric steering column. 12v 80A Leonardo arduino engine. therefore the motomone test starts in the available time.

Hi, I am a new member and I'm from Turkey.
I was just looking for info on an Ardunio button box for my PS4 and I came across this site.
After spending couple of hours in the site, looking through many great examples of DIY simulators and the detailed knowledge and tools behind, I decided to build myself a simulator.
My first project will be a 2-dof shoulder support simulator with JRK controllers, DC worm gear motors on an aluminum profile rig. I will start a topic on that soon.
I will mainly use it for Project Cars 2 on PS4.
So.. Feels good to be together with motion sim people from all around the world in this forum.
    Best wishes to all,

Welcome @Alper Tekeli, there are indeed many inspirational member projects here.

Your plan follows a well known patch using some pretty well tested equipment, I will look forward to following your build thread once you get started.

And you can find some different approaches to button boxes and a whole lot more in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

    Good luck with your project.

    Hi,
I am Dirk (Nickname: Arazok) from Germany and my next project will be a DIY motion playseat.
I've build a playseat (non-motion) last year by myself and now it should be upgraded with 2-axis motion. Problem: The frame / the construction is based on timber.
I hope to find all the answers to my questions here :)

    Hi,
joined here to make some research before my heli-simpit gets some movement.
I have not decided yet how many DOF my motion platform should have.
At moment I try to decide between 3DOF with pitch, roll and heave vs 6DOF.
