    Motocross you do tend to steer like this. Street or gp lean for sure. The old thrustmaster bike controller let you switch between mx steering like this or gp where the controller goes side to side

    Nice work :thumbs. If I was to build a bike Sim, likely would purchase a wreaked/cheap bike and use the parts from it as required. That sim is crying out for a wind setup.

I will try to explain, but I am not sure that I will formulate the idea correctly and the translator will translate it correctly. 2 DOF platform in this configuration is not quite correctly simulates the transverse slopes (pitch). The fact that, unlike the car, the slope of the motorcycle - it is primarily the force created by the rider, the transfer of the center of gravity and turning the steering wheel, and only in the second - a consequence of external forces on the moving body. Moreover, the angle of the motorcycle depends on the steering angle and speed. The task of the rider is to keep the weight of the motorcycle in the slope. Ie for the correct simulation requires a counterweight or a stabilizer that would resist the actions of the rider.

    If you want to exercise without leaving home, I changed the simulator again and turned it into a exercise bike, the game I used was the eurotrack simulator 2, and for pedaling I used a arduino mega, with Unojoy software and some sensors hall with a neodymium magnet.
