Can you post a picture of your planned design, that would help.

The MD 25:1 are great for many designs and are well priced, 50 and 60:1s are available where more torque is needed.

the plan is to mount the seat over the tail shaft thought it was better to have the dead weight over the load surface.. ill build a simple wheel deck mounted to one side and i may drop the front on a 45 degree where the pedal box will be

where do i find these motors

The placement of the uni joint is determined by finding the balance point of the upper frame including the seat, yourself and all peripherals: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-of-gravity-to-balance-a-motion-simulator.55/

With a full frame and a short design leverage length you will likely need the 60:1s.

You can use the 25:1 motors and change the gearboxes to 60:1: https://www.motiondynamics.com.au/worm-drive-motor-12v-24v-200w-180-rpm-20nm-torque.html

Or buy the 200w or 320W motors with 60:1s, but you can have issues with the latter if using JRKs:

First question what is the require torque needed as it how much weight will each need to support, and is it a dedicated race rig or flight or will be an arcade unit that will do both.
And why use a 8 bit controller apart from they dirt cheap and the hardest thing to setup.

Pololu JRK > Arduino, now Thats a start...next would be to get some legit decent motor's from Motion Dynamics, not those wee wiper motor's...Can you post a picture of the Frame design ? That will also help us advise you on how to go about things.

the start up amps are to high for the MM board i spoke to motion dynamics they told me to buy the 70 watt motors.. so i did and there no good.. ive looked at the other boards there around $100 and i found one that i think was 160amp its was a pololu board but ive no idea if it would work.. there $199 the issue is i wanted to build a platform that was cheap for people to buy.. with the way i wanted to do it its not going to be possible to make it worth my while making them.. i hoped to sell them here in oz for $500 but no chance of that now thanks for your help anyway mate
